  1. Hi, this would be a simple but important improvement to WP Fusion. Use case:
    – IF the site visitor is logged in, DO NOT show them a Become A Member ad.
    – If the site visitor IS NOT logged in, DO show them a Become A Member ad.

    – IF the site visitor is logged in, DO NOT show them a Sign Up For The Newsletter widget.
    – If the site visitor IS NOT logged in, DO show them a Sign Up For The Newsletter widget.

    Thanks!

    1. Hey Kerry,

Thanks for the feature request. We’ll have to review it and see what we can do. With WP Fusion we try not to duplicate functionality that can already be achieved by other plugins, especially if it doesn’t relate to the CRM integration.

There are already several plugins that do this, such as https://wordpress.org/plugins/visibility-logic-elementor/ and https://wordpress.org/plugins/dynamic-visibility-for-elementor/

The problem is that we can’t change the behavior of the three settings we have already (https://wpfusion.com/documentation/page-builders/elementor/), because people are already using those to protect content.

So we’d need to add a new control, something like… “Only show to logged in users” vs “Only show to logged out users”

But if someone selected “Only Show to Logged In Users”, and then selected several Widget Tags (Not), and chose Logged Out Behavior = Display, the element would actually be hidden from logged out users despite our docs saying it should be shown to logged out visitors who don’t have the tag.

So you can see it could become very confusing and frustrating to people if it’s not added in an intuitive way.

We’ll take a look at it and see what we can come up with, and update this request when we’ve made some progress. In the meantime I’d suggest checking out either of those two plugins. We actually use Dynamic Visibility for Elementor on this site and it works great.
