Integration FluentBoard and ActiveCampaign
Hi Team, It would be interesting to integrate FluentBoard and ActiveCampaign. While AC offers Tasks Mgt, they all relate to a Deal (or somewhat sales activities). FluentBoard could offer one place where individuals could find all their activities (Sales or others, such as Ops/Support, etc.). Therefore if a Task is assigned/updated/completed to an User (matching email in WP and AC) in one system it could be mirrored in the other system. AC Task can be identified by Task Id, which could be a hidden custom field in FluentBoard Task. If WP User is not found in AC (or vice-versa), nothing happens. Thank you for your consideration. Kind regards,
At the moment our integration with ActiveCampaign is with Contacts, Accounts (https://wpfusion.com/documentation/crm-specific-docs/activecampaign-accounts/), and Deals (https://wpfusion.com/documentation/ecommerce-tracking/activecampaign-ecommerce/#deals-tracking)
We could in theory create an “Enhanced Ecommerce” integration with FluentBoards that creates a new Deal for every task… and moves Deals through stages as tasks are moved through pipelines.
It’s a bit unconventional because “Tasks” aren’t really ecommerce data, so the only thing that would sync is the “Order Title”, as the task name. We don’t support custom fields on Deals.
But we do support syncing deals to pipelines + stages with HubSpot, Zoho, Salesforce, and a few other CRMs, so it’s possible other folks would find this useful. We’ll leave the request up and see what the interest is like from other users. Thanks!
Hi Jack,
Thank you for your reply.
In my mind I was thinking that Tasks created in FluentBoard would be more related to Ops/Support and not tied to a AC Deal (therefore no need to synchronise them there).
However, Tasks created in AC, attached to a deal, would then be duplicated in FluentBoard.
If these tasks are then updated in FluentBoard (most likely completed/closed), this would be reflected in AC too.
The overall intent is to be able to offer an unique dashboard (FluentBoard) that integrate AC Deal Tasks and other Tasks.
Hopes this clarifies the idea.
Kind regards
Gotcha, thanks for clarifying!
Enhanced Ecommerce is more straightforward because if we built a FluentBoard <-> AC Deals sync, then it would also work automatically with HubSpot, Brevo, Ontraport, and the other CRMs that support pipeline stages.
Building an integration just for AC tasks is harder to justify because it’s a completely new API integration, and we might only find a handful of people who would use it.
However, HubSpot, Pipedrive, and maybe some others also have Tasks. We could consider making a WP Fusion Tasks Addon which creates tasks based on triggers, and syncs tasks with project management tools in WP.
I’ll leave this up and see what the interest is like. It’s technically feasible but it would be a multi-month project so we’d want to see some strong interest, especially from users of the enterprise CRMs.
