Ontraport Enhanced Ecommerce – Update existing orders
Update the Enhanced Ecommerce integration for Ontraport (https://wpfusion.com/documentation/ecommerce-tracking/ontraport-ecommerce/) to allow syncing order edits (such as changed products or line items) to the existing order in the CRM, instead of creating a new order. Also, (if possible) make it so that when an order status is changed from Refunded or Canceled back to Completed, the order is un-refunded in Ontraport. (the Mark As Paid endpoint may work for this https://api.ontraport.com/doc/#mark-transaction-as-paid )
Today’s v1.25.1 Enhanced Ecommerce update adds support for marking a refunded order Complete and having it updated to Paid again in Ontraport ✅
Unfortunately we’re not sure if it’s possible to update an existing transaction over the API. Ontraport isn’t sure if it’s possible either, but they have an engineer looking into it to see if there’s a workaround. Will update this request when we know more.
