WPforms – add “duplicate conection”
It would be awesome if we could Duplicate an all-ready made connections, or have the fields separated from the conditions. We work with organizations that can have some long forms (a lot questions) and then we need to create 3-10 wpfusion connections to add proper tags based on conditions. We found that if we do not fill out all fields in each connection, it is not working properly. So it is a tedious work to sit and match up to 20 fields to use 3-10 wpfusion connections. (we could add the conditions in CRM, but if the client have changes to the forms fields or process it is easier to do that directly in the form instead of to places)

Right, that’s frustrating 🤔
Unfortunately WPForms doesn’t have anything in their integrations framework that allows duplicating a connection.
I suppose what we could do is have the first “connection” include the field mapping, and subsequent connections would just show the “Apply Tags” setting and conditional logic. Then as long as the first connection runs and creates the contact, the tags will be applied to that contact based on the logic in the subsequent connections.
Would that work for you?
Duplicating the connection wasn’t possible, but we were able to add a toggle to use a single Connection as the primary field mapping for all connections.
This lets you set the field mapping once, and then run multiple conditions on different sets of tags.
